Marie Walter-Franke is a political science researcher with degrees from Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics. In her thesis at the Free University of Berlin she examined the representation of migrants, their movement and their rights in European asylum policy. An active public speaker, Walter-Franke works as a researcher at the Hertie School Jacques Delors Centre Think Tank. Her recent project on the future of a common asylum system received support by the Charlemagne Prize Academy.
