The meeting between David Shaw and Strapontin is actually quite simple, unlike what the name of their collaboration might suggest. David Shaw has worked with Jennifer Cardini and Dombrance, swinging between electro pop, post-rock and new wave. Always hungry for new projects, Strapontin is a visual artist, dancer, composer and DJ. ‘It’s Complicated’ is a fusion of the diversity of their common influences, from post punk to dark disco, with a pinch of downtempo.
